Washington: The University of Washington (Seattle, WA) is currently seeking applicants for our Summer 2016 Football Strength & Conditioning Internship Program. The summer program will run June 20th - August 2nd, 2016. Interns will have the opportunity to continue their experience through the fall season dependent upon individual performance. Must adhere to the rules of the NCAA, The University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics Department and the Pac-12 Conference. Required qualifications: Currently pursuing bachelors or masters in exercise science or a related field, CPR/AED certified, and a strong desire to become a Collegiate/Professional Strength & Conditioning Coach. Preferred qualifications: Currently pursuing or possessing NSCA, USAW, or CSCCa certification(s). Compensation: This is a non-paid volunteer position. Individuals will gain experience in a Division I collegiate speed, strength & conditioning setting, as well as future recommendation for employment.
