Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work with the Football Strength and Conditioning staff. Required qualifications: current CPR / AED; completion or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field. Other preferred qualifications include certification(s) from CSCCa and NSCA, previous coaching experience(s), experience in collegiate sports, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Youngstown State: The Youngstown State University Football and Olympic Strength and Conditioning Staff is currently seeking 1-2 highly motivated intern candidates for the Spring of 2020. BEGINNING IMMEDIATELY. The successful candidate will be both hard working and posses a willingness to learn. While the position is UNPAID, the candidate will be compensated through hands on experience at the Division I level with both Football and Olympic sports. Interns will have the ability to apply internship hours towards undergraduate and graduate programs. The candidates will also have an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge in both on the floor coaching, and programing. Candidates have an opportunity to earn professional recommendations for future ventures. The start date for these positions will be January 2020 and the candidate will have time for work opportunities outside of the internship.
