FAU: Florida Atlantic Owls Strength and Conditioning is currently accepting applications for volunteer internship positions for the 2017 Football Season. Start Date August 27th. These are unpaid positions. Candidates should have, or be working towards, a BA/BS and current CPR/AED certification. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a strong desire to pursue collegiate strength and conditioning. Candidates will have opportunities to work with Football and with other Olympic Sports if desired and complete weekly assignments as part of the internship curriculum. Southern Miss: The University of Southern Mississippi Strength and Conditioning program is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach that will begin in the fall of 2017. This is position will receive a monthly stipend as well as tuition waiver. APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO GAIN ACCEPTANCE INTO THE SOUTHERN MISS GRADUATE SCHOOL IMMEDIATELY. An educational curriculum will be provided as well as practical experience working with all students-athletes. Required qualifications include completion of Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, strong desire to become strength and conditioning professional, possess a strong work ethic, possession of or in the process of receiving certification through the NSCA or CSCCA. NCAA to examine strength coaches’ certification, oversight process

Davidson: The Davidson College Strength and Conditioning department is accepting applications for Athletic Performance Interns for the Fall Semester of 2017. Intern responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and training of Davidson’s 21 Division I intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. We are wanting to give the responsibility of the year- round programming of one or more teams to each intern. Intern qualifications must include: Strong work ethic; Desire to learn; Enthusiasm; Desire to become a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Preferred qualifications include: Senior status or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; eligible to sit for the CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. Compensation: There is no monetary compensation provided, although we may have the potential for reduced price housing. Yale: The Yale Football Sports Performance Staff is looking for qualified and hardworking Fall 2017 interns with a strong passion for College Football and Sport Performance to work with the Yale Football Team and in the Varsity Weight-Room. These positions are unpaid, but provide valuable experience, and will begin August 14th. Preferred candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in or related to the field of Exercise Science. This is an NSCA accredited internship site, thus, candidates must possess a certification or membership through the NSCA, or be doing the internship for college class credit. Upon completion of the internship, the NSCA will award 2.0 CEUs to each candidate. An NSCA-CSCS, CSCCa, or USAW Certification is preferred but not required. Colorado State: The CSU Football Strength and Conditioning department has a number of unpaid internship opportunities available for fall 2017. These positions are designed to engage students who actively seek a career as a strength and conditioning coach in the day-to- day operations of the football weight room. Students will be exposed to all facets of an NCAA Div. I FBS football strength and conditioning program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with the daily operations of the weight room, helping to create a positive training environment, assisting with distribution of nutritional supplements under guidance of a registered dietitian and strength and conditioning staff, record keeping and facility and equipment maintenance. These positions provide the opportunity to gain experience and examine career opportunities in intercollegiate athletics while working in a dynamic, exciting and collaborative environment. Students are encouraged to examine all aspects of the strength and conditioning program in an effort to maximize exposure to potential career opportunities. Trinity College (Hartford, CT): Trinity College (Hartford, CT): Trinity College is accepting applications for a part time (20 hours/week) Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2017-2018 school year. The position pays $16 an hour with 1 meal a day in the cafeteria along with the opportunity to work with our game day operation department for extra money. This position will be responsible for programming for 4-5 teams and leading those programs. Southeast Missouri State: Southeast Missouri State University is currently accepting applications for a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant for the Fall 2017 semester. The position includes tuition and a stipend. Primary responsibilities: Design and implement a comprehensive sports performance program for assigned teams; communicate effectively with staff, administrators, and sport coaches; ability to teach and execute proper technique of lifts and drills; attend and participate in staff meetings and educational meetings.
