Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons have announced the additions of a number of new staff members and some new promotions. Bryant Harper joins the program as sports performance coordinator and Ken Knox will be an assistant director of sports performance. Harper was an assistant strength coach at Navy while Knox previously worked in a graduate assistant role at Kentucky. Kennedy Hill has been promoted to associate director of sports performance, Brendan Nave is now senior sports performance coordinator, and Nick Zinani is an assistant director of sports performance.

Yale: Per source, Delaware State University coaching assistant Trey Hall has left for a full time coaching position at Yale working primarily with football.

Virginia: The University of Virginia is accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning Volunteer Interns for the 2021 Summer. The internship will start June 1st, and continue through Mid-August. Specific dates will follow as the hiring process progresses. You will complete a 9-week education program, developed by the UVA Strength and Conditioning Staff. Interns will work primarily with football. This is an unpaid internship. Responsibilities will include: Daily weight room maintenance, set-up, tear-down, assist with supervision of weight room and field work. Interns must be motivated, able to follow specific directions, and have a strong work ethic. Interns will receive hands on experience to multiple training methods, Tendo Units, Fatigue Science, and Catapult. Interns should be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, and certifications through the CSCCA-SCCC, NSCA-CSCS. Interns will gain collegiate strength and conditioning experience at the Division I level, and potential for future recommendations for future career opportunities. Boston College: Boston College is seeking candidates for the Summer 2021 Football Strength and Conditioning Internship Program. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work with the Football Strength and Conditioning staff. Required qualifications: current CPR / AED; completion or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field. Other preferred qualifications include certification(s) from CSCCa and NSCA, previous coaching experience(s), experience in collegiate sports, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an unpaid 3-month internship with possible invite to stay in Fall. If this is not an economically feasible option, please do not apply. Saginaw Valley State: Saginaw Valley State University Strength and Conditioning, an NCAA Division II institution, is seeking two to four full-time UNPAID interns for the Summer 2021 semester. Full-time Interns must possess a strong work ethic, a desire to excel in the field of strength and conditioning and have a strong strength training background. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the Strength and Conditioning staff in developing and administering all phases of speed, strength and conditioning programs to all varsity sports. The individuals will serve as top assistants for select varsity sports as assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Qualifications: Must be working towards a degree in the field of exercise science or similar. Individuals must possess or be working towards a CSCS, and additionally have the option of completing the internship practicum for the CSCCa Examination. William & Mary: William & Mary are looking for 4-5 professional interns to assist with football and all other teams on campus during the 2021 summer sessions. This is NOT a weight room cleaning, protein shake stocking, only position. This will be a hands-on coaching experience that will also include an educational portion covering relevant literature. This is an UNPAID position and will begin in June and run through mid- August. Individuals will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the college strength and conditioning field as well as assist with data collection from GPS. Candidates should be pursuing a certification with the CSCCA or NSCA or already hold one. Candidates should be prepared to work early mornings, nights or weekends depending on training schedules.
