Connecticut: The University of Connecticut Football Strength and Conditioning staff is looking for 3-5 unpaid volunteer interns for the summer of 2020. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and working towards or already in possession of a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and also be CPR/AED certified. Must possess or be currently working towards certification through the CSCCa, NSCA, or USAW. The internship will include assisting in daily set up and break down of the football weight room, completion of a comprehensive educational curriculum, data collection (Catapult GPS), and any other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. This is an unpaid position and if this will not work financially, please do not apply. The start date for the internship is 6/1/20 and will run through 7/24/20. Southern Miss: The University of Southern Mississippi, a member of Conference USA and NCAA Division I (FBS), invites applicants for the position of Athletics Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant. This is a 9-month, graduate student position that runs from August to May annually. Position includes graduate school tuition and a monthly stipend.
