UALR: The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Division 1) Athletic Performance program located in Little, AR is currently accepting applications for (1) Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach for the Spring 2020 semester. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the Director of Athletic Performance in all aspects of developing and implementing athletic performance programs for 15 intercollegiate athletic teams. Candidate will be asked to design and implement annual periodization for the sports assigned by the Director of Athletic Performance. Candidate will assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, as well as assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with preferred emphasis in the exercise science and basic knowledge of coaching the Olympic lifts. Candidate must have a great work ethic and strong computer skills especially with Microsoft Excel. Preferred experience (1-2 years) includes coaching athletic performance for intercollegiate athletes and/or playing intercollegiate athletics. Candidates must be certified through the NSCA as a CSCS or through the CSCCA as a SCCC. A USA Weightlifting certification is also preferred. Candidate must have a current and valid CPR certification. An educational stipend and tuition waiver will be provided. Lynn: Lynn University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach (part-time). Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with collegiate athletes required. CSCS or SCCC, CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required and USAW certification is preferred. Sports Performance experience is preferred. This position reports to the Director of Sports Performance. Assist in the training and motivation of 350 student-athletes to maximize their potential for athletic performance and injury prevention. The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will, in conjunction with coaches and athletic trainers, organize and design strength, power, speed, agility and flexibility programs for assigned sports: maintain safety, hygiene and efficiency of the Fitness Center.
