Southeast Missouri State: Southeast Missouri State University is currently accepting applications for 1-2 strength and conditioning interns for the 2017-2018 academic year. This position will work primarily with SEMO Football (Division I FCS) and other teams as needed. This internship will start January 16th, 2017 and finish May 11, 2018. Application deadline is November 15th. This is an UNPAID position. This position provides candidates with hands on experience coaching in a Division I college setting with the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities. Applicants will also have the potential to sit for the SCCC upon completion of internship. Applicants must be prepared to work long hours. These hours will vary throughout the internship and will include early mornings, late afternoons, weekends, and possibly holiday hours. Applicants will work with all teams based on needs. Daily responsibilities will include, but not limited to: assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs, daily maintenance of equipment and weight room, and professional development throughout the internship. Requirements: Applicants must possess a relentless work-ethic with a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Applicants must be able to volunteer a minimum of 40 hours per week, be punctual, and enthusiastic. A Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field. Murray State (FCS - KY): Murray State University Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning VOLUNTEER INTERNS for the 2018 spring semester. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the workplace day in and day out, assisting in creating the best and most productive training environment for our student athletes, and assist in creating a competitive training atmosphere. NO MONETARY COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or be in the last semester of coursework for undergraduate degree in exercise physiology or a related field of study. Yale: The Yale Football Sports Performance Staff is seeking qualified and hardworking individuals with a strong passion for College Football and Sport Performance, to fill Spring 2018 internship positions with the Yale Football Team and in the Varsity Weight-Room. These positions are unpaid, but provide valuable experience, and will begin around the second week of January 2018.
