Cal: The University of California Berkeley Football Strength and Conditioning Program is seeking candidates for the spring 2019 internship program. Qualified candidates will work directly with Football as well as various Olympic sport teams as assigned. This is an UNPAID POSITION but provides the opportunity to learn from multiple experienced strength and conditioning coaches at the FBS Level (Pac-12). Intern responsibilities will include: Assisting with the supervision of training programs, daily facility upkeep as well as participating in various educational assignments during the internship. All internship applicants must be CPR & First Aid certified. Preferred qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a Kinesiology/Exercise Science related field as well as a CSCS/SCCC certification. San Jose State: San Jose State University is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of VOLUNTEER/INTERN in the Athletic Performance Department for Spring term 2019. The capable candidates will have the opportunity to advance their competence while gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the field of Athletic Performance at a Division 1A institution. Responsibilities for the positions include: assist Athletic Performance staff with all daily maintenance and operational duties, involvement in volunteer/intern professional development program, assisting with assigned team training sessions, as well as other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Performance Coach. Required Qualifications: Applicants should have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science or a related field and working towards CSCS or SCCC. Must have a strong desire to be involved in Athletic Performance at the collegiate level; proficient in Microsoft Excel; excellent communication skills, both oral and written; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; must be diligent and willing to learn; adhere to all University, Mountain West Conference, and NCAA regulations. Ole Miss: The University of Mississippi is accepting applications for a Spring 2019
semester internship position that would work with the Football Strength and
Conditioning Department. This is an unpaid position that is responsible for
assisting the Ole Miss Strength and Conditioning Staff with set up and breakdown
of drills and equipment during the off-season program and other departmental
functions. This internship program contains an academic portion, which entails
multiple readings, as well as a hands on practical portion. Required qualifications
include completion of an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related
course of study, a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, and
possess a strong work ethic. Other preferred qualifications include certification
from a nationally credited association (NSCA-CSCS, SCCC), previous coaching in a
collegiate setting, First Aid CPR/AED Certified, personal involvement in a
collegiate competitive sport, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic
movements. There is no monetary compensation so if this position is not

Tulane: Tulane University Strength and Conditioning, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, is currently seeking applicants for 3 volunteer UNPAID internships for BOTH Football (2) and Olympic Sports (1) for the Spring Semester 2019. This position will run from January 14th to May 3rd. Required qualifications: Currently pursuing bachelors or masters degree in exercise science or a related field and a strong desire to become a Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coach.
