Missouri Southern State: Missouri Southern State University Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for Volunteer Interns (UNPAID) for the spring of 2019. This internship will begin January 14th and will conclude in May of 2019. Interns will work directly with football and other assigned sports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; assisting with set up and break down for daily training, routine maintenance and cleaning of the training facilities, and completion of the internship curriculum. This is a hands on internship which you will gain experience coaching college athletes and developing your specific coaching style. Required qualifications include a strong work ethic, completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, and a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional in the collegiate and or professional setting. All undergraduate applicants should be working towards their NSCA/CSCCA certification. Other preferred qualifications include previous experience involved in a collegiate sport. All potential applicants are strongly advised to make sure this internship is economically feasible before applying.
