Brown: Brown University is now accepting applications for FALL 2016 volunteer interns. Applicants must possess a strong desire to become a collegiate strength & conditioning coach. Intern will have the opportunity to work with 38 Ivy League varsity sports and gain hands on experience. Duties will include but not limited to: assisting with the supervision of training programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of internship curriculum. This is a NON-PAID internship. Expected start and end date for the fall is September 6th through December 9th (minimum 300 total hours at 20 hours per week). There will be an opportunity to begin the internship sooner based on availability. Qualifications: Currently pursuing Bachelors/Masters in Exercise Science or related field; a strong desire to become a Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach; pursuing CSCCa, USAW, or NSCA certification(s). To apply applicants should send a cover letter, resume, and 3 professional references to Maureen Khairallah, Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach, via email to

Buffalo State (D-III - NY): Buffalo State College (NCAA Div III-NY): Buffalo State College’s strength and conditioning department is accepting applications for the Fall 2016 Strength and Conditioning Internship Program. This is an unpaid position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the strength and conditioning staff with the implementation of sport specific injury prevention, strength, speed, agility, flexibility, mobility, and conditioning program. Potential Candidates: Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s in a related field. A CSCS certification or a SCCC certification are preferred but not required.
