Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jacksonville Jaguars are no longer accepting resumes for the 2017 internship position. The Jaguars Strength Staff would like to thank all the applicants that applied for the position.

Clemson: Clemson University Department of Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning is seeking highly motivated candidates to fill Summer 2017 internship positions. Individuals will gain knowledge and experience in a Division I Collegiate Strength and Conditioning setting. Individuals will also have the opportunity to work with all the Olympic sports that train out of the Jervey weight room. It may fulfill course credit if necessary. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for various sports, attending to daily maintenance of the training facilities, and professional development throughout internship program. Qualifications: Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or related field, certified in CPR/First Aid, a strong desire to become a Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach and pursuing NSCA, USAW, or CSCCa certification(s). Compensation: This is a non-paid volunteer position. You will gain experience as well as the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Georgia Southern: The Georgia Southern FOOTBALL Strength & Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications to fill two (2) UNPAID internship spots for the Summer 2017. Interns will gain experience working in a Division 1 FBS environment. Qualified applicants must possess CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications, a strong work ethic, the desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, a flexible work schedule, and effective communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field, obtain or in pursuit of a CSCS or SCCC certification, and previous playing experience of a sport at the collegiate level or higher. Responsibilities include assisting the Football Strength & Conditioning staff in the implementation and supervision of training sessions, assist with the daily administrative duties, facility cleaning and maintenance duties, set-up and break down of equipment, nutrition room responsibilities, and all other duties that may be assigned by the Head Strength & Conditioning coach. Pace (D-III - NY): The Pace University Strength and Conditioning Department is looking to hire one, part-time assistant strength and conditioning coach. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to designing and implementing the strength program for 2-3 teams within the athletic department and other duties with teams as necessary. Additional duties include 10-15 hours a week overseeing student weight room. This is an hourly position with expected compensation to be $12,000 over a ten month period. Anticipated start date is as soon as available. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPR/AED certification, Bachelor’s Degree, Nationally recognized strength and conditioning certification (CSCS, SCCC, USAW etc.), and a strong desire to pursue a career as a strength and conditioning coach. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree related to Exercise Science, previous college athletics playing experience, 1-2+ years strength and conditioning experience.
