Kansas: Keith Belton, USC's interim strength coach following the departure of Ivan Lewis to the Seahawks, has joined the Kansas program, per Inside USC.

Cal: The University of California Berkeley Football Strength and Conditioning Program is seeking candidates for the summer 2019 internship program. Qualified candidates will work directly with Football as well as various Olympic sport teams as assigned. This is an UNPAID POSITION but provides the opportunity to learn from multiple experienced strength and conditioning coaches at the FBS Level (Pac-12). Intern responsibilities will include: Assisting with the supervision of training programs, daily facility upkeep as well as participating in various educational assignments during the internship. All internship applicants must be CPR & First Aid certified. Preferred qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a Kinesiology/Exercise Science related field as well as a CSCS/SCCC certification. Southern Utah: Southern Utah University is actively seeking applicants for an unpaid internship position working with Football for the Summer of 2019. This position will begin May 27th and will end July 30th. Internship responsibilities will vary and will include various duties. Hours will vary throughout the summer and will include early morning, and late afternoons. Interns in our program can expect to gain valuable hands on experience in areas such as program design, exercise instruction, plyometric, speed and agility techniques, conditioning, facility and athlete management. Our staff will take the time to mentor and develop interns within our program. We believe that an educated and well- trained staff will have a powerful and meaningful impact on our student athletes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, played collegiate football, CSCS or CSCCA preferred but not needed. Must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning, possess an excellent work ethic and have the ability to take initiative and be pro-active. Previous weight room or athletic coaching experience preferred.
