Northwestern Oklahoma State: Northwestern Oklahoma State is looking to hire a head strength coach. This is a 12-month position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include: In charge of strength and conditioning activities of all Northwestern Athletics programs by providing expert instruction in the uses of weight machines and conditioning equipment while being able to tailor workouts to the specific needs of each program or individual student-athlete. Akron: The University of Akron has an immediate opening for a part-time strength and conditioning coach. The position offers experience working with Olympic sports as well as assisting with football. Requirements for the position include a Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, exercise physiology, or other sports specific degrees. Master's preferred. Kansas: Les Miles has hired Ben Iannacchione as the new head strength coach. Iannacchione and Les have a history that goes back to LSU, where he served as an assistant coach before leaving to run the strength program at Youngstown State. He later returned as the associate director of the strength program at LSU before leaving for Wyoming as the head of sports performance.
