Washburn: Washburn University is currently seeking applicants for an IMMEDIATE Strength and Conditioning PAID Intern position. The paid Strength and Conditioning Intern is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the coordination of the Strength and Conditioning Programs for Ichabod Athletics. The Strength and Conditioning Intern is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Washburn University, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), and the NCAA. This is a part-time position and will receive a $500 stipend monthly. Essential functions include assisting in the development of maintaining strength and conditioning programs in coordination with the Director of Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning for several sports. The Strength and Conditioning Intern will also assist in the development of strength and conditioning programs in coordination with the athletic training staff and doctors for rehabilitation of student-athletes. The Strength and Conditioning Intern will provide student-athletes with guidance and proper training techniques. The Strength and Conditioning Intern will maintain up-to-date records on the strength and conditioning programs of each team and specific individual training plans of every student-athlete as well as all other duties assigned. Position Qualifications: High level of personal integrity, outstanding work ethic, knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations, demonstrated ability to inspire student-athletes to develop to their fullest potential, outstanding skills in oral and written communication, excellent organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks occurring at the same time. Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Northwestern State University is seeking a graduate assistant coach for strength and conditioning starting this August 2020. This position is responsible for assisting in all aspects for strength and conditioning for football as well as programing for assigned teams. This position also entails assisting in the graduate assistantship program with any duties assigned and duties assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Qualifications: (required) – Bachelor’s degree, previous strength and conditioning experience, strong work ethic; CPR/ AED certification. Currently possess Certification through NSCA or CSCCa. You will Receive a 12,000 stipend that may be used for Tuition OR living expenses. If this is not feasible for you do not apply.
