Millsaps (D-III - MS): Millsaps College Department of Strength and Conditioning is now accepting applications for a FULL TIME ASSISTANT Strength and Conditioning Coach. The candidate will report to the Director of Strength and Conditioning and have a major role in the development of the Football program. Compensation for this position will be $6,000 over a 10 month period, but WILL ALSO INCLUDE free housing and meals. Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, certified through either NSCA or CSCCa, and also experience working with baseball and other Olympic sports. Inquiries must be received by July 20th. Delaware: Delaware is looking to hire a part-time strength and conditioning assistant. The Strength & Conditioning Coaching Assistant is responsible for designing, implementing and supervising training programs for assigned teams with in the philosophy and guidelines of the Strength Department. Assist with men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball. Position will work in collaboration with current strength and conditioning staff, athletic training and other members of the sports performance department to ensure all policies and procedures are followed and implemented. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required (in related field). CSCS certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association and/or SCCC certification from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Certifications in First Aid (ARC), CPR (ARC or AHA), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) required within six months of employment. Knowledge of the principles of strength and conditioning programming, resistance and weight training principles, techniques, and equipment. Effective organizational, personnel supervision, communication and computer skills. Knowledgeable of NCAA rules and policies. New Mexico Military: New Mexico Military Institute invites applications to fill the position of Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position is a full-time, 12 months appointment, under the direction of the Director of Athletics. This position is responsible for oversight and execution of strength and conditioning programs, physical fitness programs, as well as managing operations of the Godfrey Athletic Center. This position develops and implements team strength and conditioning programs in accordance with current training philosophies and modalities; Develops and executes the Corps Physical Fitness program in accordance with current training philosophies modalities; Develops and coordinates the Prep Physical Fitness program, in accordance with the needs of the individual cadet’s academy; Maintains records of all cadet’s physical fitness testing and progress; Teaches HPER and activity classes as assigned; Collaborates with Coaches, Athletic Trainers and other professionals in order to ensure cadets maximize physical performance; Provides supervision and guidance to the Assistant Strength Coach. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited program is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. Must possess CSCS and one or more of the following credentials: CSCC or USAW certification, CPR/BLS certification necessary. Salary DOE: $40,000.00. NMMI is a state supported military junior college with a college preparatory high school. Military experience is not a prerequisite. William Paterson (D-III – NJ): William Paterson University is seeking a 10-month certified strength and conditioning coach. Preferred candidates will possess experience in developing and delivering a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for a college or high school football team. Job responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to: coaching and developing student-athletes in the weight room, as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required. This is a stipend position paid over the course of 10-months. No benefits, housing, or meals provided.
