Kansas: Southern Miss assistant strength coach Jack Wilson has accepted a similar position on the Kansas staff, per the Hattiesburg American.

North Georgia: University of North Georgia Sport Performance Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant. UNG is a NCAA Division II program, competing in the Peach Belt Conference. The athletic department is home to 14 programs that consistently rank in the top 25 nationally. The primary role will be to assist the Director of Sport Performance in writing and implementing comprehensive and progressive athletic development programs and the break down/analysis of heart rate monitor and GPS data. This position will include a tuition waiver and hourly pay rate.The applicant will be responsible for writing athletic development programs for a minimum of two athletic teams, evaluate and alter individual athlete programs, break down and analyze GPS and heart rate data, Lead game day warm ups, Along with performing additional duties assigned by the head performance coach. Toledo: University of Toledo’s Football Strength and Conditioning Department is currently seeking 2 qualified volunteer candidates for the Summer 2017 semester. The internship begins the week of May 15th and will go through July 22nd, with the possibility of staying on for the 2017 season. This is an unpaid position, no monetary compensation will be provided. Position responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: assisting the staff in all aspects of the strength program, setting up and breaking down of equipment, assisting with routine maintenance of training facilities, assisting with nutrition, and participation in projects and assignments throughout the duration of the internship. Applicants must be certified or working toward certification with the CSCCa (SCCC) or the NSCA (CSCS) and have current CPR/AED certification. The candidate(s) must possess strong communication skills, motivational skills, and must have a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional at the collegiate or professional level. Central Arkansas: The Strength & Conditioning staff at the University of Central Arkansas is now accepting applications for its 2017 Summer Internship Program. This is an unpaid position. No monetary compensation will be provided. However, the position offers the opportunity of advancement in the field of strength & conditioning, as well as the fulfillment of credit hours towards a degree program. Candidates interested in this position should be hardworking, passionate, and detail orientated individuals, who have the desire to work in the strength & conditioning field at the collegiate level. Applicants should either be working towards or hold a BA/BS in Exercise Science or a Health Related field. They should be working toward certification as a SCCC through the CSCCa, or a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. Responsibilities will include: Daily clean up and maintenance of the facility and all its equipment. Setup and break down of weight room and field for all athletic workouts, and supervision of training sessions. This program will also consist of weekly educational projects and reports.
