Grambling State: The Grambling State University Strength & Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications for 2 PAID Strength and Conditioning Interns. These are paid, non-benefited entry level positions. Start date will be July 1 and will compensate $1000/mo. Interns will have the opportunity to lead, design and implement programs for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Women’s Tennis, Softball, Volleyball, as well as Soccer. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to: Assist the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach with all aspects of Football training and conditioning, instruct and coach athletes on proper training technique, maintain facilities, set up and break down training sessions as well as other duties as assigned. Potential candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, knowledge and experience coaching Olympic Lifts, great work ethic and desire to pursue a career in Strength and Conditioning. Candidates must be CSCCa – SCCC or NSCA – CSCS certified as well as have current CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. Previous collegiate experience preferred.
