Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Strength and Conditioning Staff is looking for qualified strength and conditioning interns for the 2023 Winter/Spring. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision of training, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties and other duties as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Candidates will receive Division I Intercollegiate experience, college credit towards graduation if applicable and will be involved in the CSCCa mentorship program necessary to achieve the SCCC certification. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field; NSCA-CSCS or USAW certifications; CPR certification. Experience in a Strength and Conditioning Program or having previous collegiate athletics experience is preferred. Masters of Sports Administration: Looking for an exceptional, convenient education to advance or kick off your career in sports? UIU’s Master of Sport Administration is delivered entirely online. As a graduate, you will understand the organizational, financial, personnel and technology issues involved in sport and sport business and have a greater understanding of the needs within athletic departments in high school, college, and professional sports.

Ohio: Ohio University is seeking candidates for one-year Master of Science in Exercise Physiology in Human Performance, with a start date of mid-May 2023. We are looking for eager, enthusiastic individuals looking to pursue a career as a strength and conditioning coach, sports scientist, or Ph.D. candidate in exercise/sports science. The program uniquely prepares you for the professional workforce in a summer-to-summer, 34-hour program (three semesters on campus, one semester off campus). You will gain invaluable day-to-day coaching and sports science experience in direct collaboration with Ohio University Athletics and Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). Graduate assistantships are available and include a waiver of tuition and a monthly stipend. Applications should be received by February 15 to be considered for funding however, the review of the applications will continue as they arrive until March 20. Mississippi State: The Mississippi State Football Strength and Conditioning program is now accepting applications for 1-2 volunteer interns for Winter 2023. These positions are UNPAID. Successful candidates will work directly with football and assist with all training sessions in compliance with NCAA rules. Position responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: assisting the staff in all aspects of the strength and speed programs; assisting with Catapult GPS, Kistler Force Plates, and other performance tracking systems’ data collection and interpretation; setting up and breaking down of training sessions; assisting with routine maintenance of training facilities; assisting with nutrition; as well as other assigned duties. This internship program consists of a rigorous academic curriculum along with a practical component. Minimum requirements: a current CPR/AED certification, a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, SCCC, CSCS, or USAW certifications, or experience as a collegiate athlete. Official start date will be in Early-January and end in Late-April. There is no monetary compensation so if this position is not an economically feasible option for you, please do not apply.
