Minnesota Duluth: The University of Minnesota Duluth Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking an applicant for a part-time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. The successful candidates will be assigned his/her own teams to lead. Other responsibilities include assisting with daily weight room operations, administrative and maintenance duties, weight room supervision and various assignments as directed by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Must be highly motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills as well as written skills and provide positive leadership within the University of Minnesota Duluth Athletic Department. The candidates would be asked to start January 15 th . Requirements: bachelor’s degree, previous collegiate strength and conditioning experience and CSCS or USAW certifications preferred. Pitt State: Pitt State is looking to hire a GA / Paid intern in the strength department. Under general direction, implements, conducts, and monitors strength and conditioning; assists with rehabilitation of injured athletes; assists in management of strength and conditioning facility. There is NO tuition waiver with this position. The position receives in-state tuition fees, a monthly salary of $1,000, and will receive free housing. Start date July, 31 st 2020. Bachelors degree required; previous experience in strength and conditioning preferred or related experience. Previous experience with nutrition or a degree in nutrition is preferred. National Strength and Conditional Association or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association certification preferred.
