Colorado: The University of Colorado Football Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for two (2) internship positions for the Spring 2019 Semester (January-May). These are unpaid positions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; assisting with the supervision and execution of the strength and conditioning program for the University of Colorado Football team, set up and break down for daily training, routine maintenance and cleaning of the training facilities, and completion of the internship curriculum. Required qualifications include a strong work ethic, completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, and a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional in the collegiate or professional setting. Postgraduate applicants are also required to hold a certification from a recognized governing body (NSCA or CSCCA) and all undergraduate applicants should be working towards their certification. Other preferred qualifications include previous coaching in a collegiate setting and personal involvement in a collegiate competitive sport. Applications will be taken until the positions are filled. UCF: The University of Central Florida Football Strength and Conditioning Department is now seeking applications for the Spring 2019 internship program. This is an UNPAID position that is responsible for assisting the UCF football Sports Performance staff with the implementation of thee off-season program. Interns will gain knowledge in GPS tracking, sports nutrition implementation, along with practical experience in general strength and conditioning. This internship also provides an educational curriculum for professional development and earned recommendations for future career opportunities. Applicants should be working toward a degree in Exercise Science, or hold an undergraduate degree in the respective field, CSCCa or CSCS certifications, CPR/AED and experience participating in Collegiate Football/Athletics. UNC-Pembroke (D-II): UNC Pembroke is seeking to hire a full-time Head Strength & Conditioning Coach to oversee all sports within the Athletic Department. This position will work closely with the sport of Football, manage a strength staff, and be required to teach classes within the Physical Education department.
