Tennessee: The Vols have hired Kindal Moorehead as an assistant strength coach. Moorehead is a former Tide and NFL player who had been an assistant strength coach for the program dating back to 2010.

 Arkansas: The University of Arkansas Football Strength & Conditioning staff is looking to fulfill 3 FALL 2020 internship positions for those interested in a career in strength and conditioning, with an anticipated start date the last week of August. This internship will be UNPAID. Interns will gain practical experience working in a Division I, SEC strength and conditioning environment under the guidance of an approved CSCCa mentor. Upon completion, interns will be qualified to sit for the SCCC exam from the CSCCa if they desire. To be eligible, you must be pursuing or hold a degree in a field related to exercise science. Those who have, or are actively pursuing, the CSCCa or CSCS certifications are preferred. Experience working with Catapult is also preferred. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting with the implementation of strength and conditioning programs, participation in an educational curriculum that will involve meetings and demonstrations with the strength staff, and maintenance of the strength and conditioning facility. Kentucky Christian: Kentucky Christian University's Department of Strength and Conditioning is now accepting applications for 2 Strength and Conditioning Intern Coaches for the Fall Semester of 2020. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for Football and all Olympic Sports, teaching student athletes proper technique and equipment use, attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities. Candidates will have the opportunity to program, implement, and supervise a strength and conditioning program for some assigned sports. HOUSING AND MEALS WILL BE PROVIDED. No monetary compensation will be provided. However, there will be opportunity to advance within the department. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or be in the last semester of coursework for an undergraduate degree in exercise science or related field of study. Certification from one or more of the following (NSCA, CSCS; CSCCA, SCCC; USAW) are preferred. Position will start no later than August 9th. The University at Albany: The University at Albany Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for Volunteer Interns for the fall of 2020. This internship will begin August 17th and will conclude in December of 2020. These are unpaid positions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; assisting with the supervision and execution of the strength and conditioning program for the University at Albany Football and all seventeen Olympic Sports. Interns will gain hands on experience in a Division 1 setting, assist with set up and break down for daily training, routine maintenance and cleaning of the training facilities, and completion of the internship curriculum. Required qualifications include a strong work ethic, completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, and a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional in the collegiate or professional setting. Postgraduate applicants are also required to hold a certification from a recognized governing body (NSCA or CSCCA) and all undergraduate applicants should be working towards their certification. Other preferred qualifications include previous coaching in a collegiate setting and personal involvement in a collegiate competitive sport. Applications will be taken until the positions are filled.
