Lincoln (D-II - MO): Lincoln University is seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position is a 12 month position starting in late August and is a two year commitment. Lincoln is a member of the MIAA Conference and competes in the GLVC for Football. Compensation will include full tuition waiver for up to 6 credit hours/semester, room & board as well as most meals. There is NO stipend for this position though there may be additional ways to earn income. This position will write and implement programs for multiple teams at Lincoln University. Additionally, this position will assist the strength and conditioning staff with upkeep of the Strength and Conditioning Facilities. Candidates must have one of the following certifications Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa). Newberry: Newberry is looking for a full-time assistant strength and conditioning coach. This is a 12 month position: Compensation includes: Salary commensurate with experience, benefits included. Primary responsibilities include programming for assigned teams. Provide proper instruction on modalities of training and ensure athletic teams safety at all times. Maintain constant communication with coaching staffs, and sports medicine staff to ensure everyone is always on the same page. Maintaining a professional working relation between all athletic staffs. DePaul: DePaul University is currently seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Volunteer Sports Performance Coach for the Fall quarter of 2018. The dates of the position will be from approximately August 27th , 2018 until November 21st, 2018, but we are willing to accommodate a semester schedule. This is an unpaid position; however, the COMPENSATION of this experience is as follows but not limited to: experience working with Division 1 athletes, professional development opportunities, daily learning opportunities, resources and assistance in preparing for major certifications such as the CSCS, and professional references for future opportunities in the field. RESPONSIBILITIES are as follows but not limited to: assist sports performance coaches in program implementation of each sport, design and implementation of individual workouts (when given the opportunity), set up prior to and break down following workouts, and routine organization/cleaning of the weight room. Scotland (Postgrad - PA): Scotland Campus Sports Performance is now accepting resumes for one (1) PAID intern for the 2018 Fall Semester (Aug 15-Dec 15) with the possibility of an extension. QUALIFICAITONS: Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field, current CPR/AED certification, current certification of CSCS, SCCC, USAW or working toward completion of one, MUST have previous coaching experience at high school level or higher, strong work ethic, effective communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to commit to AT LEAST 40 hours per week including some weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting the strength coach with the implementation and supervision of the sports performance programs for all sports at Scotland Campus AND a local Division II university, daily weight room maintenance and upkeep, and any other duties assigned by the strength coach and/or sport coaches. COMPENSATION: The intern will receive a STIPEND (dependent upon experience) along with HOUSING and MEALS. The intern will also be exposed to numerous talent levels of athletes from all over the world, as well as be given the opportunity to network with multiple prep and colligate coaches.
