Southwest Oklahoma State: Cade Oller has been hired as the team's strength and conditioning coach. Oller previously served as a graduate assistant in the program before recently enlisting in Navy Seal training.

Lousiana-Lafayette: Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Performance is accepting applications for volunteer internship positions for FALL 2019. Report date is August 19th and will run through December 13th. These are UNPAID positions; however, candidates will receive hands-on experience in a Division I FBS athletic performance environment and will have the potential opportunity to earn a USA Weightlifting Level 1 & CPR / AED / First Aid certification. Candidates will work under an approved CSCCa mentor. Candidates should have / be working toward a degree in an Exercise Science related field as well as have / be pursuing CSCS or SCCC certification. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a strong desire to pursue collegiate strength and conditioning and are willing to commit a minimum of 20 hours/week with early mornings, long days, and evening hours. Candidates will have opportunities to work with all Olympic Sports and the Sports Nutrition Department and participate in an educational internship program consisting of weekly assignments, presentations, and staff meetings. Utah Valley: Utah Valley University is now accepting applications for the position of part-time assistant strength and conditioning coach. This is an hourly paid position for up to 20 hours per week. Responsibilities include the design and implementation of programs for 3-5 assigned teams, and may assist with other teams when needed. Schedule will allow the flexibility to obtain outside employment if necessary. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field. Master’s preferred. Minnesota Crookston: The University of Minnesota, Crookston is looking to hire a Strength & Conditioning Coach for Football for the 2019-20 Academic year. This is a paid position which includes a $10,000 stipend/fringe benefits. In conjunction with the Head Football Coach, the S&C coach will design, oversee and lead workouts while providing leadership and instruction for the student-athletes. This will include skill analysis, teaching proper technique, and providing feedback to ensure the maximum development of athletic potential. Texas: The University of Texas Football Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting Internship applications, for the 2019 Fall Training Program. Responsibilities include assisting the Football Strength and Conditioning staff in all aspects of developing and implementing strength, speed/agility, conditioning, flexibility, mobility, and recovery protocols for the Football Team. Additional responsibilities will be to provide; daily weight room supervision, daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment, assist with and conduct performance and strength testing, completion of internship curriculum, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Applicants must have a strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Candidates should be enrolled in or completing their Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or a related field. Applicants should be certified in CPR/AED, and working towards certifications from any of the following organizations: NSCA, CSCCa, or USAW. Texas A&M Commerce: The Department of Sports Performance at Texas A&M University – Commerce (Division II) has vacancies for Volunteer Sports Performance Interns for Olympic Sports and Football. These are unpaid positions. Potential interns will gain exposure and experience with all aspects of training by working directly with the Senior Director of Sports Performance & the Director of Sports Performance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree (Exercise Sciences or related fields). Candidates must also have extensive knowledge and coaching experience with Olympic-style lifting exercises. Current CPR & AED certification. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS - current CSCCa or NSCA Coaching Certifications or the active pursuit of the CSCCa or NSCA Coaching Certifications.
