Tennessee: Vols strength coach Craig Fitzgerald shared with Jeremy Pruitt this morning that he has opted to stay in Knoxville after Maryland and Mike Locksley made a hard run at him, per Chris Low.

USF: University of South Florida Department of Strength and Conditioning is now accepting applications for 2 Strength and Conditioning Intern Coaches for the Spring Semester of 2019. This is an UNPAID position; however, this opportunity offers a valuable professional recommendation for advancement in the field of strength & conditioning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with the daily implementation of off- season training for the USF Football team, set-up and breakdown of daily strength and conditioning training sessions, routine maintenance, cleaning and organization of the training facility, data collection, as well as participation in an internship curriculum. Interns will also have the opportunity to assist in the design and implementation of various Olympic Sports training programs. ECU: East Carolina University Strength and Conditioning is currently accepting applications for unpaid/volunteer internship positions for this upcoming Spring Semester, starting January 7th, to work with Olympic Sports. This position offers theexperience of working with a Division 1 Strength & Conditioning program, with the guidance under a CSCCa approved mentor. This internship will allow you to gain experience, have fun and use your talents in athletic performance, you will gain first-hand knowledge from a staff proficient in areas such as: athletic performance, sport psychology, exercise physiology, speed development, power lifting, and Olympic lifting. Qualifications: Candidates must possess or be working toward a certification through the CSCCa and/or NSCA; A CSCCa 640-Hour Mentorship can be completed during this internship; Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written; Candidates must have a current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification; Candidates must have solid work ethic and attention to detail; Candidates must be available for hours of operation with their designated teams and/or designated by the Director of S&C; Candidates must have a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Responsibilities will include assisting with team training sessions, professional development assignments, facility maintenance, and other tasks as designated by the Strength and Conditioning staff. Ottawa (NAIA - KS): Ottawa University (Kansas) Department of Athletics seeks highly motivated candidates for an UNPAID Intern position to assist with implementation and supervision of Athletic Performance programs for all varsity sports. Primary responsibility will be assisting staff in all aspects of the Braves Athletic Performance program.Candidates must be working towards or have already earned a bachelors in exercise science or related field. Experience with Olympic-style lifting, plyometric training and speed development is required. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills to teach/motivate a diverse population of student-athletes, interact with support staff and coaches. Masters degree in health/fitness, sport science or related field highly preferred. Candidate must be working toward certification from either the CSCCa - SCCC certification examination and/or NSCA - CSCS certification examination and have a current CPR and first aid certificate.
