Ohio: Jake Miller is now working as the Bobcats director of strength and conditioning. Miller comes to Ohio from Arkansas State, where he had served as Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Performance since 2018 for the Red Wolves. Miller's experience also includes stints as Director of Athletic Performance at SMU, Director of Strength & Conditioning at Arkansas State, Associate Director of Athletic Performance at Baylor, Director of Football Strength & Conditioning at Missouri State, Strength & Conditioning Graduate Assistant at Louisiana at Lafayette, Strength & Conditioning Coach at Baylor and Assistant Football Strength & Conditioning Coach at Rice.

UTSA: The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Strength and Conditioning program is now taking applicants for 2021 Summer intern candidates. This is a VOLUNTEER, UNPAID position that will be responsible for assisting the UTSA Strength and Conditioning department with our 17 Division I programs. Assigned sports will be delegated by our full-time staff. Our intern development program will give you a hands-on experience training Division I college athletes and the tools for future professional opportunities. Required qualifications include: Completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study; Strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Other preferred qualifications include: Strength and conditioning certification from an accredited organization, previous coaching experience; Personal involvement in a collegiate competitive sport; Proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic movements. South Dakota: The University of South Dakota (Missouri Valley Football Conference) is currently accepting applications for (2) PAID 2021 Internship positions. The (2) accepted interns will have the opportunity to compete for a graduate assistant position with roughly double the stipend as well as tuition assistance. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work with Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and other Olympic Sports training on-site. This position is responsible for assisting the Coyote Strength & Conditioning staff with the implementation of the Summer/Fall programming, nutrition oversight, maintenance and upkeep of the weight room and facility, and supervised training of collegiate athletes. Required qualifications include completion of an undergraduate degree in a human performance related course of study. Additionally, applicants should exhibit a passionate desire to become a head coach in strength & conditioning, a solid work ethic, and a recognizable “team first” attitude. Participation in Collegiate Athletics or the Armed Services is preferred. Additional consideration will be given to those who already hold a recognized certification, previous coaching experience, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic movements/the ability to clean > 180kilos ;) . Cincinnati Elder (OH): Archbishop Elder HS is an all-male, college-preparatory high school, within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and an original athletic member of the historic Greater Catholic League. The Elder Strength & Conditioning Department is seeking non-academic interns for the school year 2021 – 2022. Applicants need a minimum of 2 years of college class attainment; with degree pursuit(s) in life sciences, social sciences, sports' medicine, sports' studies, education, or an interest in coaching being preferred.
