Seattle Seahawks: USC strength coach Ivan Lewis is leaving to join the Seahawks, per Adam Maya. Lewis is set to replace Chris Carlisle, who previously served as Pete Carroll's strength coach at USC from 2001-09 before reportedly being let go last week.

Southern Connecticut State: The SCSU Football Strength and Conditioning program is seeking candidates for a WINTER/SPRING 2019 VOLUNTEER internship. Qualified candidates will work directly with Football and will have the opportunity to assist in all training sessions with the implementation of individualized, comprehensive, sport-specific injury prevention, and performance enhancement programs. This is an UNPAID opportunity that provides true hands on experience working at the Division II level. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Marshall: The Marshall University Football Strength and Conditioning program has open internships available for the winter/spring. This position is unpaid, but has the opportunity to provide free housing. This position offers the experience of working with a Division I Strength and Conditioning program, and gaining knowledge through an off-season program. This is an intense, hands on experience that entails working with all program aspects from assisting with groups, to nutrition and facility upkeep, and set up/break down of the weight room.
