Marshall: The Marshall University Strength and Conditioning Department (Olympic Sports) is seeking motivated individuals to fill 1-2 volunteer coach positions for the Fall 2016 Semester. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Setup, breakdown, and implementation of training programs for 12 intercollegiate teams and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facility. This is an unpaid position, but the candidate will gain critical experience working and learning in a Division I setting. The internship will begin August 15th, 2016 and will end December 16th, 2016. The candidate must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field and be CPR and First Aid certified. Preferred qualifications: CSCS, USAW, SCCC. Minnesota Duluth: The University of Minnesota Duluth Athletics Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking an applicant for (2) PAID interns. The successful candidates will be assigned his/her own sports. Other responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, administrative and maintenance duties, weight room supervision and various assignments as directed by the strength and conditioning staff. Must be highly motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills as well as written skills and provide positive leadership within the University of Minnesota Duluth Athletic Department. The candidates would be asked to start immediately upon being selected. Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree, previous collegiate strength and conditioning experience and CSCS or USAW certifications preferredPlease send e-mail with a cover letter, resume, and three references to Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Matt Bauman at bauma230@d.umn.edu.
