Seattle University: Seattle University’s Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistantship for Fall 2017. Graduate Assistant duties include but are not limited to: sport assignments; provide proper instruction for safe and effective lifting techniques and equipment usage; assist in the maintenance and daily upkeep of the Athletic Performance Center; and any other responsibilities assigned by supervisors. Candidate must adhere to all university, WAC, and NCAA Division I regulations. Candidate must also have a strong desire to work in collegiate strength and conditioning post-graduation. This position requires early morning hours, late evening hours, and some weekends. Yearly Stipend of $15,000 Applicant must have or be planning to take the GRE prior to admittance. The Graduate Assistant Employment would begin as soon as admitted to schooling. Apply to graduate program below. REQUIREMENTS: Bacherlor's degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology and at least one of the following certifications: CSCS, SCCC and/or USAW. If accepted applicant must have or receive CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
