Washington: Per source, Columbia University's football director of speed and athletic performance Matt King has left his position to join the Washington staff as an assistant strength coach.
Lincoln Memorial (D-II): Lincoln Memorial University is currently seeking two graduate assistants for the Strength and Conditioning program for this fall semester. The graduate assistant’s responsibilities include: Design and implement training programs for designated teams; communicate effectively with staff, administrators and sport coaches; Ability to teach and execute proper technique of lifts and drills. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, desire to be a collegiate strength and conditioning coach, along with experience in a collegiate weight room. The graduate assistant position includes tuition, room/board, and 50 meals per semester. Kennesaw State: Former Penn State player and intern Matt Baney has accepted a graduate assistant position at Kennesaw State, per source.
St. Francis (IL): The University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL) is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning. This position will begin August 1. Compensation includes a full tuition waiver, a $4,000 stipend and reduced housing. Candidates must be admissible to the graduate program with at least a 2.5 GPA for their undergrad. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports. There are 21 varsity sports at St. Francis.
