UTRGV: The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley, located in Edinburg, TX is seeking applicants for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Responsibilities will include direct oversight of 3-5 Olympic Sports. Compensation for this position will include $20,500 annually, as well as full university benefits which will begin on June 1, 2021. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or a related field of study, Certification through the CSCCa (SCCC) or the NSCA (CSCS), First-Aid/CPR/AED certification through a nationally accredited body. McNeese State: McNeese State University is seeking a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to oversee Volleyball and assist with all aspects of Football strength & conditioning. Candidates must be certified (CSCS or SCCC) and have current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. This position offers a full tuition waver and $12,000 stipend annually. Northern State (D-II - SD): Northern State is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports, communication with coaches, athletic training staff and administration. Compensation: Compensation includes a two thirds tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Desired Qualifications: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a health related field; Candidates must gain admission the graduate program at Northern. (GRE not required); Must me working toward or holding the SCCC or CSCS certification; Previous coaching experience at high school, collegiate, or professional setting.
