Loyola Chicago: The Strength and Conditioning program at the Loyola University Chicago is looking for highly motivated interns for its Fall Semester (August-December). The internship program at Loyola University Chicago is designed to provide interns with a comprehensive understanding of a career in collegiate strength and conditioning by giving them the skills to become successful and effective coaches. Since the work load will be demanding, prospective interns must be committed to sports performance and working with division-1 student-athletes. Loyola Strength is a comprehensive system incorporating all aspects of athletic performance including strength development, injury prevention and nutrition to build complete athletes and prepare them to lead extraordinary lives. Requirements: Graduate or undergraduate students working towards a degree in exercise science or a related field. Must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Individual must possess or be working towards a certification from a recognized governing body (NSCA, ACSM, USAW, CSCCa). Previous weight room experience preferred.
