NC State: Brandon Howard has been officially announced as associate director of strength and conditioning at NC State. He previously served as an associate strength and conditioning coach at Texas Tech.

Belhaven (D-III - MS): Belhaven University, a Christ-centered liberal arts university in Jackson, Mississippi, competing in the American Southwest Conference, is seeking a paid intern strength and conditioning coach starting in Fall 2021. This position is responsible for programing for Men’s Basketball, Softball, & Men’s Soccer, as well as assistance with football. This position entails supervision, maintenance and general operation of the weight room as well as assisting with professional development of graduate assistant strength and conditioning coaches. Qualifications: (required) – statement of faith, bachelor’s degree, 1 year of previous strength and conditioning experience at collegiate level, strong work ethic, & current CPR/AED certification. Currently possess certification through NSCA or CSCCa. This is a 12-month position with the potential to be renewable. Compensation includes $1,000 monthly stipend. FDU-Florham: Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Strength and Conditioning Department is looking to fill one Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Position. The expected date to start is early August 2021 . The accepted candidate will have the opportunity to work hands-on with all 19 Varsity Sport Teams. Also, if accepted for this position, teams will be delegated based on prior experience. Daily Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Assisting with supervision, set up, coaching of all student-athletes, meeting with head sport coaches, and the athletic training staff, department meetings and any other areas related. This will also include attending to daily maintenance of the facility. A minimum of 20 hours a week are required for the term of the graduate program, including some evening and weekend hours. The candidate must be accepted into a graduate program as well. Qualifications: Hold an undergraduate/graduate degree in exercise science or related field. Certified in CPR/First aid. Hold either a CSCCa-SCCC and/or NSCA-CSCS certification(s). Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work varied hours. Preferred to have at least 1-year experience coaching at the collegiate strength and conditioning level. Compensation: Graduate Tuition will be paid for in full and will earn a $10,000 stipend ($5,000 per year). You will receive experience and will be given an opportunity to grow and learn in the field of Collegiate Strength and Conditioning. Qualifications: (required) – statement of faith, bachelor’s degree, previous strength and conditioning experience or experience as a collegiate athlete, strong work ethic, & current CPR/AED certification. Currently possess or be working towards certification through NSCA or CSCCa. Bachelor’s degree and 2.5 GPA required to be admissible to desired graduate program if offered position. Compensation includes room & board as well as a full tuition waiver with the potential for a small monthly stipend as well.
