Campbell: Campbell University’s Strength and Conditioning Department is currently seeking 1-2 qualified intern candidates for 2017 Spring semester. Internship will begin January 9, 2017 and conclude on May 5, 2017. This is an unpaid position. No monetary compensation will be provided. Accepted applicants will be eligible to apply completed hours during the internship towards CSCCa practicum requirements and/or undergraduate/graduate internship requirements, in addition to gaining a recommendation for future employment. Intern responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to the following: 1.) Assisting with the supervision of athletes and implementation of training programs for various sports, 2.) Setting up and breaking down of equipment for training sessions, 3.) Assisting with routine maintenance of training facilities, 4.) Active participation in projects and assignments throughout the duration of the internship, 5.) Any other duties assigned by the Strength and Conditioning staff. Applicants must be certified or working towards certification with the CSCCa (SCCC) or the NSCA (CSCS) and have current CPR/AED certification. Candidates must possess a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional.
