New York Giants: University of Tennessee head strength coach Jeremy Pruitt is returning to the NFL and will become new strength coach for the New York Giants.

Illinois State: The Illinois State University Strength and Conditioning Staff is currently seeking applications for Volunteer Strength and Conditioning Interns for the Summer Semester of 2020. This internship opportunity will be “UNPAID” beginning on June 1, 2020 and ending July 31st. The interns will assist with all Olympic Sports, and will also have the opportunity to assist with Football. Preferred applicants must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, be detail oriented, have previous training experience, and have a desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Strength and Conditioning Staff in all aspects of program administration, data management, facility upkeep, and participation in an internship curriculum. Within the ISU Strength and Conditioning program, you will follow a protocol that allows you to learn how to: learn and teach proper lifting position and technique, research relevant training modalities, develop training programs and manipulate those programs based on time of year, sport-specificity, exercise progression, periodization, and utilization of available equipment. Applicants should have or be working towards a nationally accredited certification in strength and conditioning. Mentorship hours towards CSCCa certification will also be available. Intern applicants must be CPR/AED certified. Ottawa University: Ottawa University Department of Athletics seeks highly motivated candidates for Graduate Intern position to assist with implementation and supervision of Athletic Performance programs for all varsity sports. Primary responsibility will be assisting staff in all aspects of the Braves Athletic Performance program. With experience candidates will be assigned up to two teams of their own. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field. This position is a two-year position with a 50% scholarship towards your graduate degree. There is no other compensation, but there will be opportunity for on campus jobs, or in the community. Assistance in finding housing will be available. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills to teach/motivate a diverse population of student-athletes, interact with support staff and coaches. Candidate must be working toward certification from either the CSCCa - SCCC certification examination and/or NSCA - CSCS certification examination and have a current CPR and first aid certificate.
