Boise State: Arkansas State strength and conditioning coach Jeff Pitman will follow Bryan Harsin to Boise State according to Brian Murphy of the Idaho Statesman.
Murray State: Lauren Kelly, a volunteer assistant with the strength staff, has accepted a grad assistant position at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
Stony Brook (NY): Stony Brook University is accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning Interns for the Spring 2014 semester. Responsibilities include: assisting in the supervision and training of Stony Brooks 18 Division I intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily maintenance, administrative duties and completion of educational assignments. Preferred qualifications include: pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Exercise Science related field; current SCCC and/or CSCS certification; CPR certification and previous experience in a strength and conditioning program or have previous collegiate athletics experience. Minimum qualifications include: pursuing SCCC and/or CSCS certification, strong work ethic and the desire to further one’s career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. This is an unpaid position.
