Montana: Dartmouth strength coach Jeff Butler has accepted a position as the assistant direcor of Montana's athletic performance center and willl assist with the strength program for the football team.
UC Davis: Position: Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. Appointment: Full-time, 12 month contract in Intercollegiate Athletics with the possibility of extension. Compensation: $2,500 - $3,000/month. Deadline: For full consideration please apply by February 20, 2013. Responsibilities: Assist with the development and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for 23 intercollegiate athletic teams. Qualifications: Knowledge of the rules and safety requirements of strength and conditioning training. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques and safety measures for student-athletes to compete at the collegiate level. Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) through the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Examination or certification by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA). Must maintain certification. Experience in the field of Sports Performance with student-athletes in a collegiate setting. Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, movement sciences, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: United States of America Weightlifting-Club Coach (USAW) Certification. Master's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, movement sciences, or related field.
