Colorado State: Per source, John Michael Clay will leave the Samford staff to become an assistant strength coach for football at Colorado State.
Purdue: The Intercollegiate Athletics Department at Purdue University is seeking qualified applicants for (1) full-time, 12-month Sports Performance Graduate Assistant position. Duties include: Technical instruction, demonstration of technique and skills, motivation, development of discipline testing and evaluation of athlete’s performance related to area of sports performance. Qualifications are: Bachelor's degree and admission to a Purdue University graduate program, strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office) and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadlines. Evening and weekend hours required Compensation & Tuition Waivers: Stipend $1760 per month (tuition is waved). This is a two-year assignment and includes a monthly stipend (with paid vacation/sick leave) and with full waiver of tuition, the general service fee, and the technology fee. Please note the tuition and fee waiver does not include the differential fee and the repair & rehabilitation fee. Start date will be early summer 2015. Preference will be given to applicants interested in a career in Sports Performance in intercollegiate athletics upon completion of graduate program.
