Miami (OH): Miami University is accepting applications for their fall internship program. This is a VOLUNTEER position. Successful applicants must display a strong work ethic and must be highly motivated. Interns will be given the opportunity to oversee their own teams and assist with the nutrition program. While this is an unpaid internship, candidates will gain valuable experience training their assigned teams, earn class credit (if applicable), receive team gear, and earn a potential recommendation for further positions in the field. Arizona: The University of Arizona football strength staff is searching for aspiring strength and conditioning coaches for internship positions this fall (August – December). This is an unpaid position, although, the position allows for an opportunity to earn future recommendation towards GA and assistant vacancies in the field of strength and conditioning. The position will require daily cleaning, as well as setup and breakdown of equipment. The UA strength staff will put you through an internship program that includes teaching the correct techniques on Olympic lifts, plyos and speed development. This program will also include instruction on program design and how to prepare for future interviews. Applicants should be committed to developing themselves as a strength and conditioning coach and devoted to further advancing their careers in this profession.
