UNLV: The University of Nevada Las Vegas is currently accepting Athletic Performance Internships. These participants will be exposed to all facets of Athletic Performance. Interns will be expected to complete weekly reading assignments, program design projects and daily meetings/discussions with full time staff members. Practical experiences include: Hands on experience in running a Division I Athletic Performance Department, staff meetings, daily maintenance of the training facility, technology implementation and record keeping. Interns will receive experience working with various teams in a Division I training environment and earn recommendations for future career opportunities. Intern qualifications include: POSITIVE ENERGY, CONFIDENCE, ENTHUSIASM, and a RELENTLESS WORK ETHIC. Preferred qualifications include: Previous athletic background, SCCC or CSCS certification, and CPR/First Aid certification. Philadelphia Eagles: Chip Kelly has promoted sports science coordinator Shaun Huls to director of sports science and reconditioning. Also Oregon sports science coordinator James Hanisch has joined the organization as a high performance analyst and J.P. Crowley Hanlon as a logistics coordinator.
