Baylor: Baylor University Department of Athletic Performance is accepting applications for the Spring 2013 Athletic Performance Internship Program. This is an unpaid position. Intern responsibilities include: Assisting with the supervision of training programs; Assisting with daily administrative and maintenance items; Completion of various educational assignments during the internship. Intern qualifications include: Punctuality; Enthusiasm; Strong work ethic; Ability to volunteer a minimum of 40 hours per week. Preferred qualifications include: Senior status or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. Interns will receive experience working in a Big 12 training environment, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable. Stetson: Brad Lokey has been announced as the new director of strength and conditioning at Stetson. Lokey comes to Stetson from Cumberland University (TN) where he served as the director of strength and conditioning. Prior to that, he served on the Georgia Tech strength and conditioning staff.
