Montana: The University of Montana Department of Athletics is accepting applications for the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance position. Responsibilities: Design and implement proper, efficient, scientifically sound training programs for each team. Conduct workouts in a safe, efficient, organized manner to comply with NCAA regulations. Oversee and mentor student interns and graduate assistants. Work with athletic training staff and physicians as needed to implement individual rehabilitative and reconditioning programs. Continue education to ensure growth within the program for improved training practices, and up-to-date injury reduction programs. Participate in continuing education and certification programs to fulfill national certification(s); attend conventions, conferences, and clinics consistent with Department and University policies. Assist in the coordination of daily operations of the Athletic Performance Center (scheduling, supervising, repairing, cleaning, etc. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field. * Prior experience in weight room management. Ability to manage and work well with large groups. * Two years of strength and conditioning experience working with college athletes. * Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
