East Central (D-II - OK): East Central University (ECU) Strength and Conditioning is currently accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to start January, 2014. This position will coordinate and implement the strength and conditioning of 1-2 sports, assist with football, and assist with the daily maintenance of the facilities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Sports Administration, or a related field and admission to the ECU Graduate School. Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, strength and conditioning coaching experience preferred, and a desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Must be current in CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Preferred Qualifications: USAW, pursuing SCCC and/or CSCS. Liberty: Sources tell us that former Mississippi State grad assistant and Michigan State intern Patrick Gifford has been hired as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Liberty.
Texas: The University of Texas Strength and Conditioning department is accepting applications for the position of Football Volunteer Unpaid Intern for the SPRING semester. There are 5 positions available. This is a highly competitive and demanding internship.
