Tennessee State: We hear Alvin Futrell has been promoted to head strength coach.
Louisville: Intern - The University of Louisville Football Strength and Conditioning department is accepting internship applications for the Summer and Fall of 2011. The planned start dates for this internship will be June 2 or August 1 (based upon availability) and will continue through December. This is a full-time unpaid internship, responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the supervision and training of all Louisville Cardinal football players, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties, and completion of various educational assignments during the internship are also required. Qualifications: All applicants must be highly motivated individuals looking to advance their career in strength and conditioning. Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, have a desire to learn, and be enthusiastic about improving the performance of our student athletes. Preferred qualifications include: Senior status or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; eligible to sit for the CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. Compensation: Interns will receive experience working in a Big East training environment, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable.
