Ohio State: The Ohio State University Football Strength and Conditioning department is accepting internship applications for the summer of 2011. The planned start dates for this internship will be May 13 or June 16 (based upon availability) and will continue through December 16. This is a full-time unpaid internship, responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the supervision and training of all OSU football players, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties, and completion of various educational assignments during the internship are also required. Qualifications: All applicants must be highly motivated individuals looking to advance their career in strength and conditioning. Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, have a desire to learn, and be enthusiastic about improving the performance of our student athletes. Preferred qualifications include: Senior status or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; eligible to sit for the CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. To apply: Please send a cover letter, resume, and 3 professional references to Justin Armintrout, Intern Coordinator, at armintrout.7@osu.edu.
