CAL: We hear Mike Blasquez has been promoted to head strength coach at CAL.

Texas: We have learned that Tennessee head strength coach Bennie Wylie accepted the same position at Texas.

Morgan State University: Accepting applications for Spring 2011 Intern. Responsibilities will begin on or about January 24, 2011 and run through May 9, 2011. Responsibilities will include 1.) Assist with development and implementation of sport specific strength & conditioning programs. 2.) Office and organizational duties. 3.) Maintenance of equipment and training facilities. 4.) Other duties as assigned by strength & conditioning staff. Required qualifications: currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or a related field, certified in CPR/First Aid, and strong desire to become a College Strength & Conditioning Coach. Preferred qualifications: proficient in Microsoft word and excel, currently pursuing NSCA, USAW, or CSCCa certification(s) Compensation: This is a volunteer position. No stipend or housing is offered. Individual will gain experience in a division I college strength & conditioning setting as well as future recommendation. College credit will be given as approved by their institution.
