Alabama: The intern positions have been filled. 

Florida A&M: Former Wofford and Minnesota stength and conditioning intern Eric Tooker has accepted the assistant strength and conditioning position and will work with the men's and women's basketball teams, and also assist with the football program.

Kennesaw State: Kennesaw State University seeks applicants for the position of Strength and Conditioning Intern / Volunteer for the Fall & Spring ’12 semester. Responsibilities: Successful candidates will assist in organizing, implementing of the Kennesaw State Advantage Program. This includes but is not limited to the areas of movement assessment, exercise technique progression, dynamic warm-up, speed & movement training, strength training, soft tissue / flexibility, and performance testing for all student-athletes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, First Aid and CPR certified. Certified or working toward the CSCS, SCCC or USAW certification and Division I coaching experience. Midwestern State University (D-II - TX): Midwestern State University Strength and Conditioning program is seeking highly motivated, hardworking candidates for strength and conditioning interns for the fall 2012 semester. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and training of Midwestern State University’s 12 Division II intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Qualifications: strong work ethic; punctuality; enthusiasm; desire to further one’s career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Preferred qualifications: pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field; NSCA-CSCS or USAW certifications; CPR certification. One year of previous experience in a strength and conditioning program or have previous collegiate athletics experience. Compensation: This is a non-paid position, but offers the opportunity of advancement in the field of strength and conditioning as well as the fulfillment of credit hours towards a degree program. Bowling Green: Strength & conditioning intern - Position Summary: The general purpose of this position is to assist in the design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for varsity student-athletes. Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities: Assist with the Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for assigned sports. Assist Director of Strength and Conditioning with all aspects of program administration. Daily cleaning and maintenance of equipm ent. This list of essential duties, tasks and responsibilities is not all-inclusive; individual will perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills or Abilities: Excellent verbal communication skills, Very strong interpersonal skills, Knowledge of NCAA rules/regulations, Creativity, Proficient computer skills. Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Northwestern State University Strength & Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for the position of Intern Strength & Conditioning Coach for the 2012-2013 school year. Responsibilities include designing & implementing year-round strength & conditioning programs for select teams at NSU (TBD); assisting in the complete training of all teams, student workers, projects, scheduling of teams, cleaning and maintenance of facilities. Requirements: CSCS, USAW, or SCCC not required but preferred; current CPR/AED certification; ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and work with Microsoft Office programs; strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, organizational.
