Las Vegas Locomotives: We have learned that I.J. Gorman has accepted the head strength job with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the UFL. Gorman once served as the head strength coach for the Denver Broncos.

Baylor University: Baylor University Department of Athletic Performance is accepting applications for summer 2011 Athletic Performance Interns. Intern responsibilities include: Assisting with the supervision of training programs; Assisting with daily administrative and maintenance items; Completion of various educational assignments during the internship. Intern qualifications include: Strong work ethic; Punctuality; Enthusiasm; Desire to further one’s career in the strength and conditioning field; Ability to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per week. Preferred qualifications include: Senior status or completion of a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. This is an unpaid internship. Interns will receive experience working in a Big 12 training environment, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable.
