Tulsa: The University of Tulsa Strength and Conditioning Department is searching for qualified candidates for Summer Internship opportunities working directly with football. This is an unpaid position in which the potential candidate may receive class credit and will be eligible to sit for CSCCA SCCC exam upon completion of Summer Practicum. Interns will gain valuable collegiate level experience and exposure through various training modalities including Tendo Units, Polar Heart Rate Training System, Functional Movement Screening, Body Composition Assessment and Performance Supplementation and Nutritional Protocols. Intern qualifications include: strong work ethic; willingness to learn; CPR/AED First Aid Certification; desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Preferred Qualifications: pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in exercise science; athletic training or a related field; working towards a certification with the NSCA, USAW, or CSCCa; collegiate coaching and playing experience.
