UConn: UConn is looking to hire a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. Qualifications Prospective students must be a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or eligible to sit for the certification examination. Students must be admissible in non- provisional status to the University of Connecticut Graduate School. We strongly recommend the Strength and Conditioning program that is offered through the Kinesiology Department. A minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum score of 1100 on the GRE or a score of 300 combined on verbal and quantitative exam are required for applying. Benefits This appointment is contingent upon full time registration (6 credits or more). Benefits include an approximately $20,159.30 stipend, tuition and book waiver, and full medical benefits. Start Date August 23, 2013 – May 22, 2015.
