Iowa State: Iowa State University’s Football Strength and Conditioning Department is currently seeking two qualified volunteer candidates for the Spring 2016 semester. The volunteer position will begin January 10, 2016 and conclude on May 6, 2016. This is an unpaid position, no monetary compensation will be provided. Candidates must be using this experience working towards class credit at their respective university. Accepted applicants will gain experience working at the Division I collegiate level with football. Position responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: setting up and breaking down of equipment for training sessions, assisting with routine maintenance of training facilities, and participation in projects and assignments throughout the duration of the semester. Applicants must be certified or working toward certification with the CSCCa (SCCC) or the NSCA (CSCS) and have current CPR/AED certification. The candidate(s) must possess strong communication skills, motivational skills, and must have a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional at the collegiate or professional level.
